Boston Butt

This common roast is the top portion of a pork shoulder - the meatiest part of the pork shoulder. It is often smoked for a mouth watering pork BBQ, but works well for any slow cooked pork dish. Because it has a good marbling of fat, you can cook it until it's falling apart tender and it will still be juicy.

From happy pigs that spent their lives enriched in our woods basking in the sun and rooting in the dirt. We rotate our pigs through the woods, which eliminates the need for excessive de-worming medication. We do not use ANY vaccinations or growth hormones.

All of our animals also get kelp meal added to their locally milled feed, which is rich in vitamins and minerals.
