AS a small farm we face unique challenges that make it difficult to turn a profit. Unlike large-scale industrial farms, small farms often have higher production costs due to sustainable practices, ethical animal care, and a focus on quality over quantity. And also as a first generation farm, we started from nothing. We bought bare land, with no fencing, no barn, nothing. With slim profit margins, we are asking for community support to bridge the financial gap so we can continue providing fresh, healthy, and responsibly-produced food. Supporting us is an investment in a healthier food system and a more resilient local economy.
