I am so excited to get the garden started. Every winter I go into survival mode. I survived another winter and now it is Spring. Time for the garden. I prefer to use organic plants and never use pesticides or herbicides. I do use companion plants and organic gardening methods for pest control.
I also enjoy offering plants to the public. I want to encourage other to grow food and I want to make that affordable and offer amazing plants. I always hear back from customers how great their plants did last year and they are excited to get more.
We have had plants available for a few weeks now, so tomatoes are nearly sold out. I do have a good number of paste tomatoes left, so if you like to make your own salsa and sauces, definitely come get some. I have plenty of bell pepper plants left and jalapeno. I love making lots of jalapeno poppers while we have them.
I also have rosemary this year. It smells devine and is a perineal, even better! I am looking forward to cucumer and squash soon and hopefully snapdragons again since they also came back better than last year.
Thank you to everyone that has already purchased plants from us. The tomatoes plant sale funds go to our local homeschool group and the other plant sale funds go towards our kids summer camp fees (which are not cheap!).
Take Care,
Tarah Steele
